● Analyze the problems of various devices, whether laptops, desktop or network, and work to find the best solution. ● Design, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cabled, wireless and other network infrastructure to be so effective with institution work and protected from all types of threats. ● Monitor network & its related devices, to ensure network functionality and availability to all system users. ● Maintain routers, switches, and firewalls of multi-vendor environment. ● Maintain security solutions and products as needed. ● Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications; ● Investigate, analyze, and resolve reported network problems and information security incidents ● Provide technical and operational support to Gaza Office projects and staff members to help resolve issues; ● Enable the institution to collect its data by KOBO technology: the following link shows how I used KOBO technology to design SIF’s submission which it has been used currently: https://ee.humanitarianresponse.info/x/Y6rRtgPb ● Design and print project vouchers. ● Deal with Databases and Database Management Systems as SQL Server and MySQL. ● Good experience with Github platform. ● Organize and maintain data of projects to be up-to-date and accessible to all stakeholders. ● Design, Implement and manage existing/new server and administer access rights for all users in the office; ● Set up/Manage users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues; ● Identify and prioritize IT needs for Gaza Strip office in each financial year; ● Review and formulate the specifications and cost estimates of IT systems, equipment and tools; ● Report status of all IT procurement and stock quarterly to Logistics Manager or whenever needed; ● Manage software licensing; ● Maintain data and network security & confidentiality; ● Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment; ● Manage/Maintain email and internet access for SIF staff; ● Monitor SIF closed circuit television system; ● Maintain & keep SIF data bases in regular and crises circumstances; ● Maintain and follow up SIF internal communication/phones network; ● Design and Implement an effective Photocopying System to serve the work environment. ● Ability to deal professionally with web SMS. ● Design solar energy systems and supervising their installation. ● Follow up all the institution’s important systems such as cams, alarm and attendance systems ● Good experience with powerful remote assistance software. ● Work as a member of a team. ● Work under pressure. ● Perform any other duties related as may be assigned. ● Good knowledge of VLANs technology ● Good knowledge of layer 3 switches ● Good knowledge of various types of servers as DNS, DHCP, Printing and File servers. ● Good knowledge of Virtual machine Monitor VMM ● Good knowledge of high availability concept ● Good knowledge of various types of protocols as IP, SSH, NTP, Spanning tree, VTP, RIP, TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, SFTP, HTTPS and etc.
